Memorial in the Potters Fied section of Linwood Cemetery, Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The monument is to Doc Holliday, a name synonymous with America's Wild West. Nobody is really sure if Holliday is buried there. He died in an hotel in Glenwood Springs in 1887 of TB aged 36. He was destitute. Potters Field was a section of the Linwood cemetery owned by the town and reserved for "the unloved", those who were destitute or unknown to anyone. Hence Holliday may have ended up here. He was famously associated with Wyatt Earp and his brothers and the Gun Fight at the OK Corral. Visitors to the grave marker had left gifts of cigarettes and playing cards for Doc.
