Comment on this strange battle is rendered difficultat present, owing to my ignorance of the orders andintentions of the Russian commander. Possibly hemay only have intended a reconnaissance in headquarters believe, however, that GeneralCount Keller meant to recapture the Motienling. Iwill, therefore, assume that this was so, especiallyas such an assumption is supported by the prolongedand desperate fighting at Gebato. For it must be Sltolcorei TiensuitiexL. fe
