Marines from India Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, are released for liberty by their senior drill instructor at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, March 10. Family Day is the first time the new Marines are able to reunite with their families since leaving for training 13 weeks ago. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. India Company is scheduled to graduate March 11.
