As the material istoo soft to be used for a hammer the production of a disk was probably in aie indebted to Mr. Moses Barrowman of Buffalo, for this specimen, from theState of New York. It isthe only article of the kind we have on which any figure is cut. The T likemark has some resemblance to the conventional representations of men made bysome western tribes at the present day.
