A jaali window in the chamber of Humayan's Tomb in Delhi, India. This patterned lattice style screen was a commonly seen detail in Mughal architecture. Humayan's tomb was commissioned by Hamida Banu Begam (Haji Bagam) in 1562. Humayan's Tomb is renowned as the first major example of Mughal architecture. Several members of the dynasty are buried in the complex.
