Sandra Pizzinato, from the 56th Rescue Squadron, is our Local Legend for this week. Pizzinato started working at Aviano AB in 1984 with the Contracting Squadron before transferring to the Civil Engineering Squadron. In 2018, she moved again to the 56th RQS where she is now a unit program coordinator. She enjoys meeting people from around the world through her work with the Air Force, but her favorite part is knowing her support betters the mission. Pizzinato enjoys living in Italy and loves to visit the mountains. She appreciates the landscape of Italy and the history that comes with it. Sh

She just got back from traveling to see her friends and family in Australia and has hopes to retire there as well.
