B., or-ganized the Boy Scouts of England, although hegraciously gives credit to Mr. Beard, Mr. ThompsonSeton and others in America, as having been theorigin and inspiration of his work. The Bo3^ Scouts of America was incorporatedunder the laws of the District of Columbia in Feb-ruary, 1910, and in 1916 was incorporated underan Act of Congress in which the objects and pur-poses of the Association are stated to be: *To promote through organization
