A sick child is removed from the Children's Air Ambulance and loaded onto an ambulance in Regent's Park, central London. The patient will be driven to Great Ormond Street Hospital nearby. The helicopter is funded by charity and is used to move children who are too sick to travel by road. A police officer cleared the field of people before the helicopter landed. The three forms of transport are worth millions of pounds and the service is free to the patient under NHS rules. The BT Tower is in the background.
