(15-16th cent.) is sculpture^cwith scenes relating to St. Germain, bishop of Auxerre (d. 44°^while that on the S. (14th cent.) represents the martyrdomSt. Stephen. The ^Interior is lofty and harmoniously proportioned. The navesurrounded by a tasteful triforium and balustrade. The choir is separatefrom the nave by an elegant grille of the 18th century. The wall ot ttambulatory, which is three steps lower than the nave, is adorned with CO , I EW. Le Morvan. AUXERRE. 62.
