The northernmost of these folds or lines of disturbance (seeline A A, Fig. A) can be traced as follows: From Station 228, in the edgeof the foothills, west of Turnbull Canon, where the formation is sandyshale, to the abandoned oil-wells in Turnbull Canon, and thence to Sta-tion 150 in Woersham Caiion, where the formation consists of oil-sand andthin-bedded sandstone, with conglomerate on the southern limb of thefold. From Station 150 it probably extends to Station 134 at the Centraloil-wells, where the formation is oil-sand and crushed shale. BetweenStations 33 and 34 the prevailing dip
