Many new members wereadded to the numbers of the faithful ones, and in October, the same year. Dominic arranged for the first grand parish bazaar, an enterprisewhich yielded a sum of nearly $2,000. This has added increased enthusiasm tothe efforts of the workers of the parish circle, which has continued withunceasing success, a fact which caused the Rev. Two Masses were served on Sunday up to that time, andthe third is served now for the special interests and benefit of the children. Atthe meeting of the Franciscan Chapter, July, 1920, Father Benvenute was suc-ceeded by the Rev. Ferdinand Heckmann, O. F. M., as a regular assistant. InJuly, 1921, Father Ferdinand was succeeded by the Rev. Fr. Paul Neville, O. , as assistant to Father Dominic. The Sunday school instructions, whichformerly were given to the children in the mornings, are now given in theafternoon by ten young ladies of the parish, under the direction of Rev.
