The compartments of the box arefilled by inserting brushes in the bottom, each brushpushing up the one above it. The use of this box haseffected considerable saving since the brushes are vglonger left around on the floor and in the pit wherethey may be damaged or swept up as refuse. WHITLOCK Office Engineer Denver Tramway Company Inability to get delivery on new special work andhigh costs have necessitated the repairing of old specialwork which was worn beyond what would ordinarily beconsidered good practice to attempt to retain in a number of cases the work of repairing these badlyworn pieces called into play all the ingenuity of ourtrack force and the use of all our special track repairdevices.
