Honeycomb cowfish (Lactophrys polygonia) swimming over corals. This fish inhabits reefs in the warm waters of the western Atlantic Ocean, from as far north as New Jersey, USA, to Brazil. It feeds on sponges, sea squirts and small crustaceans, and can reach a length of around 50 centimetres. It is caught as a food fish by local people, although it is not common.
