Heron Tower under construction on Bishopsgate

By the end of 2009, Heron Tower reached its 44th floor, overtaking Tower 42 as the tallest building in the City of London, a record it held for 30 years. Heron Tower will continue to climb until the topping out phase, expected in April 2010.
