View of the exhibition of Brazilian mordenist artist Tarsila do Amaral at MoMa in New York in the United States on Tuesday, 06 during a session exclusively for exhibitors, the exhibition takes place from 11 from February until June 3. Tarsila do Amaral (Brazilian, 1886-1973) is a key figure in the history of modernism in Latin America. The first exhibition in the United States dedicated exclusively to the artist focuses on his fundamental production of the 1920s, from his earliest Parisian works to the emblematic modernist paintings produced in Brazil, ending with his large scale and socially oriented works at the beginning of the 1930s. The exhibition features nearly 120 works of art, including paintings, drawings, notebooks, photographs and other historical documents drawn from collections throughout Latin America, Europe and the United States.
