SOMALIA, Baidoa: In a photograph taken 10 October 2013 and released by the African Union-United Nations Information Support Team 21 October, a Somali woman passes through a security check-point before entering a free medical clinic run by Ugandan and Burundian military personnel serving with the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) in Baidoa, the capital of Bay and Bakool region in central Somalia. The clinic is held twice weekly with up to 400-500 people on an average day, treating complaints ranging from sexually-transmitted diseases, to respiatory infections amd cardiac complications.
