Stowe House is a beautiful country house in Stowe, Buckinghamshire, England. Its extensive gardens - known as Stowe Landscape Gardens - are a fine example of the English garden style. Both passed into the ownership of The National Trust in 1989 and are open to the public. Here we see the gardens and its diverse buildings on a glowing summer day. It's actually the same day as the Formula 1 British Grand Prix race at the nearby Silverstone race track, and the famous Red Arrows flying display team are doing their stuff in the pre-race entertainment.
