A helmet for enlisted men of the Royal Saxon Horse Guard Regiment after 1907 Original parade lion and helmet plate on replaced skull. Silver-plated lion above the cypher shield, "169" stamped underneath the left hind leg (wing nut replaced). Light brass skull with enlarged holes and item number "44" struck in between at the front, neck guard lined with black velvet. Silver-plated star and superimposed coat of arms (one nut missing).
