Engraved horse skull,circa 1900 Fully preserved skull,on all sides decorated,with lower jaw. The top carved with bas-reliefs in the shape of a stylised human face with bared teeth,surmounted by an Uma lulik,a traditional communal house,surrounded by engraved snakes. The sides of the lower jaw also engraved with depictions of men and crocodiles. The skull slightly patinated,slight signs of age. Length 48 cm.
