Fighting man and woman. A man in black clothes grabs the stick with which a woman hit him. The man is Ishikawa Goemon, played by actor Ichikaiwa Danjûrô VII (1791-1859). The woman, actor Iwai Shijaku (1804-1845), plays the role of a Courtisan called Segawa, who is actually called Oritsu and Ishikawa Goemon's wife. This scene comes from the play Masago No Gohiiki, raised in the Kawarazaki Theater in 1830. With three poems.
