Not only is it useful for cutting in sprays for cut-flower work, but grown in suspended pots it makes one of the prettiest decora- tive house plants we know of. It is really handsomest seen drooping gracefully from a pot or basket. Sprays from four to five feet long, of a bright green feathery foliage, and as it will withstand dry atmosphere and grow well ia shade or sunlight it is decidedly the most useful and suitable parlor plant. The flowers are white and very fragrant, follow- ed by bright red berries. Mr. H H. Battles, the well-known floral art- ist, says: ''Grow all you possibly can of it; it's a grand ; It is not only a plant that will be used extensively by florists for cut-flower work, but it is decidedly a useful and decorative parlor, table and window plant. It is hardier than any other Asparagus, can even be grown in open ground, and under good treatment will r^ake specimens four to five feet across in one year—plants which have sold at $5.
