Gibraltar – 1st April 2015 – Pictured Acting Superindent Wayne Tunbridge entering cordoned off crime scene area with UK expert. UK based forensic experts and pathologists arrived today in Gibraltar and were shown the scene where four bodies, including that of a 4yr old and 6 week old baby were discovered at Boschetti Steps on Monday morning. The UK experts were met by Acting Chief Superintendant Wayne Tunbridge and Inspector Roy Perez who are leading the investigation and leading crime scene investigator Sergeant Bautista who arrived with Forensic team immediately after the pathologist was shown the crime scene. The Royal Gibraltar Police Serious Crime Investigation team have maintained all lines of enquiry open dismissing speculation of any one possible scenario having led to the violent deaths of the four person found. The presence of UK forensic experts is expected to shed new light on the crime scene where police confirm that the realms of other possibilities, other than just one person involved in the deaths remains open. All lines of enquiries including the possibility of an third party have remained open with no specific suspect yet focused on. Speculation pointing as the main suspect either of the adults has been dismissed as pure speculation by a Police Spokesperson confirming all lines of enqueries remain open with the results from the pathologist expected to shed new light on the crime scene.
