Exterior view of the Urn Tomb in Petra, Jordan. The Urn Tomb was one of the five Royal Tombs and is built high on the mountain side. It is accessed by climbing a number of stairs. The Urn Tomb may be the tomb of the Nabataean King Malchus II ( 40-70) or may be the tomb of King Aretas IV (9 - 40). The tomb was carved out of the rich sandstone of the area.
