ROTA, Spain (Jan. 5, 2017) The guided-missile cruiser USS Monterey (CG 61) prepares to pull into Rota, Spain for a port visit. Monterey, deployed as part of the Dwight D. Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, is conducting naval operations in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe.
