In the early stages of WW2 the Jews in nazi occupied europe were rounded up and forced into crowded ghettoes. When the decision was made to kill them all they were deported to extermination centres to be murdered. This image shows a sign on the outside of the Lodz ghetto. The sign reads Notice.
