Jungle gym and slide at Ljubljana Zoo
Ljubljana Zoo is a 19 hectare zoo, part of a protected nature park just a 20-minute walk from the center of Ljubljana, on the southern slope of the Rožnik Hill. (Tivoli-Rožnik-Šišenski is a natural environment of woods and meadows). It is the national zoo of Slovenia and is open year-round to visitors. Ljubljana Zoo offers up-close views of over 500 animals and provides an opportunity to observe sea lions, big cats, giraffes, meerkats & other animals at feeding times. At certain times of the year you can even camp overnight at the zoo. The zoo has a great restaurant near to an amazing playground for children. The zoo allows dogs and offers visitors free parking.
