This resembles closely the eastern Comi- cularia auranticeps, but is a fourth larger, mea- suring 3 mm. long. The cephalothorax is bright orange in color and the legs are orange at the base and dark toward the ends. The difference from auranticeps is shown in the male palpi. The tibia is divided into two branches as in auranticeps, but the upper branch is distinctly more slender and curved in a half-circle over the back of the tarsus. (Fig. 6, a.) The same part in auranticeps is shown in Fig. 6 b for comparison. Terrace. , Mrs. Hippisley. Delorrhipis bicomis n. sp. This is the third American Delorrhipis. The first. D. (Erigonc) monoccros was described by Keyser- ling from the State of Washington in 1884. and D. (Tmeticus) unicorn by jFJanks in 1892 from Ithaca. The present species is 3 mm. long and chestnut brown with somewhat lighter legs. The male sviggests a Diplo- cephalus, having the horn larger than in P. monoccros and curved upward at the end where it nearly touches a smaller horizontal, upper horn carry- ing the lower middle eyes. (Fig. 7. a, b.) The female is of the same size and color as the male and has the low- er middle eyes unusually high and The male palpi are long and resemble The patella is thickened at the end.
