The housing estate at Meerbeck, Moers, provided homes for the workforce of the nearby coal mine "Rheinpreussen IV". It was built along the lines of a british "Garden City" between 1904 and 1913, and was rescued by the city of Moers in 1980. It is on the "Route of Industrial Culture" in the
