The nave of the church of Ufford in Suffolk with, at the centre, the famous 15th century font cover that rises almost to the timbers of the roof. Richly sculpted and painted, almost six metres high, it shows at its summit a pelican pecking its breast, a symbol of the sacrifice of the mass.
