Pvt. Biggon took this photograph in December 1918 at the Meuse region in France. The image captures the view from Brandeville, looking north towards Sillon Fontaine Farm and Solerme Farm. In the background, German trenches "Du Land--Long Bois" can be seen, along with ridges of hills. The photo was taken during the Argonne-Meuse offensive by the 3rd Army Corps and 2nd Colonial French Corps on November 6-7, 1918.
