The leaves are bright green with white tips and as the plants grow to maturity the inner stalks and leaves turn white, thus making very little earthing up necessary to thoroughly blanch it. A new variety of Celery with remarkable easy-blanching characteristics and useful both for early use and for keeping during the winter months, a quality which is extremely valuable in a Celery to be grown for market.
