October 29, 2023 : Exclusive preview of the cruise ship MV Lara with hull livery of the cruise line "Life at Sea" which had planned to launch its three-year round-the-world cruise on November 1 from Istanbul (1,095 days, 382 ports, 140 countries, 7 continents). But Turkish parent company, Miray Cruises, announced that it's facing delays closing on the vessel and delayed the sail date to 11/11 from Amsterdam or Freeport on 11/21. The MV Lara is the former AIDAaura, from German cruise line AIDA Cruises. The vessel is scheduled to enter service in November 2023 and the company released a poor quality preview of its ship. This is a better personal picture of the cruise ship modified as on the official preview from Miray Cruises. IMPORTANT UPDATE 11/16: Following Miray Cruises' problems purchasing the ship, the AIDAaura was sold to Celestyal Cruises to be renamed Celestyal Discovery and will be repainted in the colors of the Greek cruise line.
