Oldhamia antiqua, Forbes (Kinahan, Trans. Roy. Irish Acad. Vol. xxm. p. 557, fig. 5). This fossil is believed by Dr. Busk and Rev. J. M. Berkeley to be a plant of the uullipore familyâallied to Acetabularia, a Mediterranean type. Prof. Forbes thought it a Sertularian polype: but the cells are not uniform or even distinct. The radiating branchlets are connected by membrane. (See Mem. Geol. Surv. Vol. in. p. 281.) Only known yet in two localities in Wicklow, viz. Carrickreilly Mountains. and Bray Head. a. G32*, Bray Head (presented by the Irish Survey). Long- mynd Group. The numbers refer to tickets on the specimens.
