Liverpool, UK. 5th May, 2016. After the momentous decision last month following the Hillsborough inquest, Liverpool face Spanish side Villareal in the semi-final of the UEFA Europa League tonight. As fans mingle together in the warm spring sunshine in Liverpool, Villareal paid their respects by placing scarves at the Hillsborough memorial monument near ’s Gardens in the city centre.
