Brian Johnson, commander of Alpha Company, Task Force 1-28. Of 457 Soldiers who began the five-day Expert Infantry Badge assessment, only 89 were able to earn their EIBs at Molnar Range March 1. The Soldiers, who came from military units stationed at Fort Benning, Georgia, and Fort Stewart, Georgia, were at Molnar Range for one week of training and one week of rehearsal before the testing began Feb. 25. The EIB is awarded to Soldiers who have mastered the requirements of being an Infantry Soldier, which include completing 30 medical, weapons and patrol tasks, a physical fitness assessment, and a demonstration of land navigation skills.
