From the studios of J. (Jesse) Holloway, 32 Cambray Place, Cheltenham, Gloucester. From April 1896, this studio was operated by Jesse Holloway's widow, Mrs Caroline Holloway, and her children. Edith Fanny Bertha Holloway was the proprietor in studio operated until 1914. These details and the drop waist dress the girl is wearing dates the photo between 1910-1914, In Edwardian times girls only wore long hair until they reached 17 or 18 after which it was thought immodest.
