Soc. 1850, p. 206) radiate on all sides,reaching beyond the tip of the bill, and forming a perfect dome,some 5 inclaes in length by 4 or in width. Another curiousappendage is a cylindrical fleshy process, an inch and a half long,pendent from the front of the neck, and clothed with imbricatedfeathers. The bird is about the size of a Crow, and wholly black,. Cephalopterus.
