Joseba Alvarez Forcada is a Basque politician. Former member of Basque local parliament and one of the leaders of Herri Batasuna and Batasuna nationalist parties. He served as a international spokesperson for them. He was also suspected to be one of the liaison persons between Basque nationalists parties and radical ETA terrorist organization. He was arested in October 2007 and charged to be a leader of delegalized political organization promoting terrorism.
