DREER'S SUPERB DARWIN TULIPS This magnificent May-flowering class has within the past few years by sheer force of their many merits forged their way to popularity by leaps and bounds, and are now grown by almost ever>'bod3' who loves spring flowers; they are quite distinct in style of gro^\-th from the other late- flowering sorts; stately -in appearance, attaining a height of 24 to 30 inches, and bearing on long strong straight stems beautiftJ globular flowers of remarkably heavy texture, in a large range of colors, embracing almost everj' conceivable tint in rose, heliotrope, claret, maroon, crim- son and ether rich and rare shades. The onlj- color in which they are deficient is yellow, and for this the Alay- flowering Tulip Inglescombe Yellow, as well as the other yellow sorts, offered on page 11, supplies the wanted color perfectly. Unsurpassed for bedding and for cutting, and most of the varieties can be forced into bloom in March without much trouble., At the National Flower Show, Geld in Philadelphia, we exhibited a number of pans of these in bloom which attracted the attention and admi- ration of thousands of visitors.
