ADVANCE REGIS-TRATION AT THECONVENTION One of the methods which havebeen introduced by the AmericanElectric Railway Association dur-ing the past few years to expedite the work at the an-nual convention has been the plan of advance registra-tion. It is an excellent idea, because with an attendanceof from 3000 to 4000 which may be expected at an elec-tric railway convention the actual mechanical work oftranscribing this number of names and titles and issuingbadges takes a great deal of time, and there are manypossibilities for mistake. This year the plan is being ex-tended to include the representatives of manufacturing-companies which are planning to exhibit at the conven-tion, so that the greater part of those expected at AtlanticCity will now be included. The success of this plan de-pends entirely upon the active co-operation of those towhom advance registration cards have been sent.
