The avowed aim of the festival in the words of founder ex-pat director acclaimed writer William Darlymple ' bring the world to Jaipur and Jaipur to the world' taken to mean an exchange and dialogue across cultures promoting greater understanding and mutual enrichment in a totally democratic, open-to-all spirit.
