Fenerbahce president Aziz Yildirim and more than 50 other prominent football figures were arrested in Turkey in July 2011over match-fixing allegations. The Turkish champions' vice president Sekip Mosturoglu was also detained as part of the enquiries. Fenerbahce players Emmanuel Emenike and Sezer Ozturk have also come under the microscope as police continue their investigations. More Super Lig clubs are reportedly involved in police investigations as well as a number of other coaches and players who have not been named.
