A pair of ivory- and silver-mounted flintlock pistols, historicism in Maastricht style of circa 1675-80 Two-stage barrels in mm calibre, octagonal then round and smooth after a girdle, with cannon muzzles. Florally engraved flintlocks, each inscribed "Iocob Kosters Maestrich". Stocks made from massive ivory with butts offset by horn. Each pommel sculpturally carved in the shape of a warrior's head with helmet, with inserted horn eyes. Silver trigger guards. Ramrods made from ivory. Length 37 cm each.
