Terracotta funerary urn, with painted and gilded bull-griffin protomes. Probably made in Athens about 300BC. The bull-griffins are clearly influenced by the art of Archaemenid Persia. Apart from the cremated bones, inside the vase were found two Athenian silver obols, fragments of a linen textile and a terracotta figure of a siren.
