200119-N-SS350-1029 SAN DIEGO (Jan. 19, 2020) Five MH-60R helicopters, assigned to the “Griffins” of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 79, fly in formation over the air field at Naval Air Station North Island (NASNI), San Diego. HSM 79 returns to NASNI after a regularly scheduled deployment with the Abraham Lincoln Carrrier Strike group in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the 5th and 6th Fleet areas of operation.
