The vines average 15inches in height, and the pods 2^ inches in length, frequentlyborne in pairs. The pods contain from 6 to 7 large dark greenpeas which remain in good eatable shape a week later than mostother varieties. This variety is as early as American Wonder,but produces a much larger pod, and the vines produce a muchheavier crop. Its dark green jiods are a more attractive colorthan the light green sorts.
