The Italian Air Force Military Aerobatic Display Team Il Frecce Tricolori in their Aermacchi AT-339A advanced jet trainer aircraft put on a superb display at the Royal International Air Tattoo. The RIAT is the world’s largest military airshow as is held annually at RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire England. Their performance was so good the team won the RAFCTE Trophy, awarded to the best flying demonstration by an overseas participant.
