No knowledge is attainable respectinghis occupations during 1440-2. In the middle of 1444, he had finishedseven subjects on the walls of the Pellegrinaio in the Spedale di S. Scala at Siena : a Sick Ward; Alms-giving; Marriage of theFoundlings of the establishment; the Popes Indulgence for enlargingthe Hospital; the Building of the Annexes, and a Virgin of Apassing interest may be created by some of these injured pieces,
