Penduline Tit (Remiz pendulinus) at nest, Italy
The Penduline Tit builds a lovely nest which is usually attached to the branches of a Willow Tree, and often the nest is suspended directly above the water of a river or stream. In areas of eastern Europe old Penduline Tit nests are sometimes used by children as comfortable slippers.
