The note of service thatpervades Juniata College gripped hislife, and he at once decided that the en-gineering world was not a wholesomeplace for his lifes investment. He de-cided to do the thing to which the churchhad called him, and to do it as well asGod would give him power to do it. Hisideals and ambition therefore ran in adifferent channel. Accordingly he attendedUnion Theological Seminary, where hegraduated, receiving the B. D. with his wife, Elizabeth, whom hemarried in September, 1915, he attendedOberlin Seminary, Ohio, during the win-ter of 1915-1916. We quote the follow-ing from Bro.
